The Monday sketch is up and it's another week of the Sizzlin Summer of Sketches which is always a fun month. Scrapbook Challenges
This one was a challenge but a fun one to create.
After looking at this I decided to use up some of those pictures that you hate to throw away but there is such a small part of it that is good. I went to Rebecca's baby pictures and decided they were perfect for the challenge.
Check out the site this week for some wonderful creations.
It's been so long since I have been able to blog- well mainly to post any pictures. The company has great firewalls and security systems in place which is good. I just can't do some things I want to and since I'm using Bob's computer it takes a couple of trips from our CPU expert to come over and fix things for me. It's makes Brad my #1 person of the week this week.
So as everyone knows my favorite site is Kitchen keepsakes for my daily posts, chats and challenges and it's challenge day on there here's the sketch I created for August
It's a fun easy sketch to work with and here's my layout for it.
It wasn't that long ago Jonathon that you were having fun like this and today I have to wish you a happy 21st birthday!
Time has gone so fast and things have been really busy since I have been back in PA, a girls weekend, a trip to celebrate an engagement, and the big party at the house for the engagement.
I think I won't be baking for quite awhile - over 80 people at the party here and a baby shower I baked for last weekend. One cheescake added for a anniversary and a grad party. Done - done for awhile!
I got my challenge up at Child's Play it one in yarn this time, I love the challenges on this site.
It's my very favorite brother's birthday today- even if he wasn't my only brother he would still be my favorite.
I think it's time to let him know how sorry I am I sat on your favorite record and broke it, lost your baby ring, lost your big black sweater and took the pictures of you to school for your friends to see of you running in the yard when you were 2 naked.
I forgot about the fact I used to charge your friends a quarter so I wouldn't tell mom you had them in your room playing cards while she was at work . Oh that's right I also took your room away when you went to college.
But on the other hand I was a super nice sister to write out your homework for you when you broke your arm and did your paper route for you. I also never told on you for blowing up Jenny Summers mailbox that night.
I think we came out pretty even in the end - I think we survived a set of parents that we always wondered how they ever managed to have two children since I think they hardly ever liked each other - we have kept each other sane some times.
We have shared a lifetime of memories and have some wonderful sories when we get together.
I'm glad and proud to say that your my brother and I know we always will be there for each other.
Wishing you a wonderful birthday and many, many more. I love you.
Just a fun layout of our last visit at Disney with Rebecca - now we spent the majority if time with her and Chris at the Wine and Food Festival but we did get to a character breakfast at the Floridian one morning. It sure bring back a lot of memories of her being at Disney when she was small and how much she loved Mary Poppins and all the characters, as long as it wasn't the villains.
This makes me think when I did this challenge about doing a album with Rebecca and some of the characters through the years. Check and see what the other designers created with this idea at Child's Play. Designing with the ideas at this blog has been wonderful for me getting so many fun pictures and memories scrapped.
